Web Applications
Web applications usually involve some interaction between a database and a webpage. These applications can be written for a variety of purposes, and serve as a "real time" universal software solution. With the increase of server strength and the popularity of broadband internet, conducting business from anywhere is more and more reality than science fiction. Wishbone MediaWorks has developed Web Applications for business, government and non-profit organizations who need a global tool without spending their budget for the entire year. Whether you need asset tracking and inventory, point of sale, scheduling or reporting software, let Wishbone develop a custom solution that fits like a glove.

WakeMed Hospital Intranet
With a staff of hundreds of doctors, nurses and specialists - WakeMed hospital decided to purchase custom designed software for document management. Wishbone programmed an ASP/Oracle solution that allows doctors to share new information through the hospital's intranet. Now they can log in, read relevant articles posted by their peers and collaborate from any room in the hospital.

NC State Board of Elections
The North Carolina State Board of Elections had a unique problem. They had a training video paid for and produced, but lacked the money for duplication and distribution to all one-hundred County precincts in the state. Wishbone MediaWorks converted their video to streaming Flash and delivered it to the web in a dial-up and broadband versions. Each precinct was able to do complete the training , at their own pace, right at their desktop.
J.P. Morgan Chase Encompass
Encompass brings a dizzying array of JPMC Human Resource knowledge to a palatable size. Wishbone was given the challenge of redesigning the user interface of this application for greater usability. Using focus groups and measured human-computer interaction, Wishbone was able to eliminate the difficulty in managing such a huge piece of software, and give J.P. Morgan Chase HR managers the perfect tool for the job.

The Well Intranet
After the campus email system became flooded with thousands of global communications per day, and internal data was strewn across various servers, The Well Intranet was created. The Well is an intranet server that allows the thousands of people in this community to login and contribute, collaborate and communicate. It was much more than a new server - it was a culture shift.
